The Badger Story: How It All Began In the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte worked as a carpenter. His hands often split and cracked in the frigid New England winters due to the demanding nature of his work. One night, seeking a soothing solution, he mixed up some beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm. It helped his hands so much that he decided to share it with everyone he knew - and that, as they say, is the start of the Badger story.
